Terms and Conditions

Consignment Contract

  • Consignor will receive 50% of selling price of item(s)
  • There are 2 price reductions during the 6 weeks items are on the floor. After 30 days, reduced to 30% and approximately 1 week later, it is reduced to 50% off
  • After 6 weeks, your items are taken off the floor, and if designated for donation will be given to charity at that time
  • If you chose to pick up your items that didn’t sell, they will be bagged and held for you until your final pick up date which will be given to you at time of consignment
  • PLEASE NOTE: if you choose to pick up as your option, there is a small fee of .25 per item which will be debited from your account
  • ANY ITEMS THAT WE PRICE $30 OR LESS ARE AN AUTOMATIC DONATE IF NOT SOLD
  • IF YOU MISS YOUR PICK UP DATE, ITEMS BECOME PROPERTY OF MAIN STREET RAGS AND WE WILL DONATE AS WE SEE FIT
  • ANY MONEY DUE TO THE CONSIGNOR MUST BE COLLECTED WITHIN 6 MONTHS OTHERWISE IT WILL BE FORFIETED.

Donation Contract

  • If you choose to donate, please be aware that items are donated approximately 5-6 weeks after the consignment date and become property of Main Street Rags
  • Please choose this option with care
  • Your items are donated on your behalf to one of several charities as we see fit
  • Upon request, we will be happy to print out an itemized list of donated items for your tax purposes
